Welcome to the KUCCPS Student’s Transfer Portal! Prepare to embark on a journey of academic mobility and progression as you explore the seamless process of transferring courses. Before diving into the application, take a moment to familiarize yourself with these crucial instructions:

Ensuring Eligibility:

  1. The applicant must have been placed by the Placement Service in the program they wish to transfer from.
  2. Applicants can only apply for courses that align with their qualifications and meet the minimum requirements.
  3. Degree program applicants must fulfill the cut-off point specified for their respective placement year.
  4. The desired program must have been offered in the year the applicant was initially placed.

Transfer Guidelines:

  1. Each applicant can only request a transfer to one program.
  2. Transfers are limited to a single occurrence throughout the duration of the program.
  3. Explore available programs and requirements by clicking the Programmes tab or search by institution using the Institutions tab.
  4. Once you have identified your preferred program, note down the 7-Character Programme Code as it will be required during the application process.

Application Process:

  1. Access the transfer applications tab and carefully follow the provided instructions to submit your application.
  2. A non-refundable application-processing fee of Ksh1,000 will be charged per application.
  3. During submission, you will be prompted to enter the M-PESA transaction code. Keep this code safe as it may be required later on.

Important Reminders:

  1. Caution! Do not make any payments before receiving the prompt or after the application deadline has passed.
  2. After submitting your transfer application, you can effortlessly monitor its progress through the student’s portal.
