The Kenyan Ministry of Education has come under blame for ‘mischievious’ placement of form 1 selection from Kenyans on Twitter (KOT).
This is after CS Machogu presided over release of Form One placement results for 2022 KCPE Candidates today.

A tweet from KNEC triggered a bitter response from Kenyans who were disatisfied with the manner in which the ministry is selecting form 1 students to various secondary schools.
This is not the first time Kenyans are eliciting an uproar of the same. It has been the same since Matiang’i’s regime in 2016.

Most parents who made their voices heard raised concerns over students being selected to the schools they did not choose during knec registration process. Here are a few replies from the tweet.
What is the reason of candidates choosing schools if the principals are picking students who didn't choose their school!!!!

That school selection exercise is useless if decisions are made at people's whims. Why bother selecting different schools then place students in schools they never selected?

So annoying!
Bwana cs hata kama ukambani kumekauka, mbona sasa unirushie mtoto kisii??

To be honest the form one selection exercise is very useless, there is no need for pupils to select the schools of their choices again,

So a student from Nandi is posted to a school in Meru, not among the schools she chose. What kind of nonsense is this surely.
