  4. Simple farm implements were used.
  5. Poor farming methods
  6. Farmers grew poor quality plants and kept poor quality animals.
  7. Inadequate feeds during winter made farmers to slaughter most of the animals.
  8. Uncontrolled animal and plant diseases that were also spreading very fast because ofunfenced and common grazing fields.
