  • Addressing God as our father – “ Our Father”
  • honouring God’s Holy name – “ Hallowed be the name”
  • Declaring the coming of God’s Kingdom – “Thy  Kingdom come”
  • Ask for God’s provision – “ Give us our daily bread”
  • Asking God to forgive our sins as we forgive those who offend us.
  • Asking God not to lead us into temptations and to give us power to resist them – “   
  • and lead  us not into temptation.
